Single-Tooth Replacement Options
A single missing tooth can often be replaced with an implant-supported crown, a fixed bridge, or in selected cases a removable partial appliance.
Implant-supported crown
An implant can support a crown without preparing adjacent teeth, but it requires surgical placement and adequate bone and tissue health.
Fixed bridge
A bridge uses neighboring teeth as supports for the replacement tooth.
Removable option
A small removable partial can be used in certain situations, often as a temporary or lower-cost option. Each approach has different maintenance and longevity considerations.
