Comparing Denture Options
Dentures can be complete or partial, removable or implant-supported, and designed for temporary or long-term use depending on the clinical situation.
Complete dentures
A complete denture replaces all teeth in an arch and rests on the supporting tissues.
Partial dentures
A removable partial denture replaces some missing teeth and uses remaining teeth and tissues for support.
Implant-supported options
Implants can improve support or retention for selected patients, but they add surgical, restorative, cost, and maintenance considerations.
