Options for Replacing Missing Teeth

A missing tooth can affect appearance, chewing, speech, and the way other teeth function. Replacement options differ in how they are supported, maintained, and cared for.

Fixed bridge

A bridge can replace a missing tooth by connecting the replacement tooth to neighboring teeth that are prepared to support it.

Removable partial or complete denture

Removable appliances can replace several teeth or a full arch and can be an appropriate solution when fixed treatment is not desired or indicated.

Implant-supported replacement

An implant can support a crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis. Implant treatment requires adequate bone, healthy tissues, and individualized surgical and restorative planning.

Individual care matters: Treatment recommendations depend on an examination, health history, diagnosis, and individual needs. Call the office to discuss whether evaluation, treatment, or referral is appropriate.
