Dental Veneers
Veneers are thin restorations placed over the visible surface of selected teeth to change their shape, color, proportion, or appearance.
What veneers can address
Depending on the condition of the tooth and the treatment plan, veneers may be considered for visible concerns such as discoloration, chips, worn edges, shape differences, or other cosmetic changes.
Planning matters
Veneers are not appropriate for every tooth. The dental team evaluates tooth structure, bite, gum health, and the desired result before recommending treatment.
Should whitening be done before veneers?
If whitening and veneers are both part of the plan, whitening is often considered first because veneer materials do not lighten in the same way as natural teeth. Your treatment sequence should be planned with the dentist.
